AIRPORT SECURITY AFTER 9/11
BEFORE 9/11:
Airport Security before 9/11
AFTER 9/11:
Airport Security After 9/11
Ever since 9/11 the United States has dramatically changed. The airports can be considered one of the biggest changes because of how cautious the security is when a passenger goes through a detector. You have to show more information about yourself not only an ID. Now you go through all this security which you didn't have to do before this tragedy happen. I personality think that it is worth doing in order to keep everyone safe.
Due to the lack of the airport securities system before the attacks, the terrorists ended up killing over 3,000 innocent Americans by hijacking planes. This inspired the federal government to develop the Transportation Security Administration, known as TSA. TSA has since then achieved many new security features in airports around the nation. All these improvements to our airport security is an effect of the 9/11 attacks, causing us to reevaluate United States security system and make important changes in order to protect our safety and to prevent another attack.
