THESIS STATEMENT
9/11 was an event that outraged the world and altered the lives of Americans forever. It made many people paranoid and violent. This led to mass hysteria. Furthermore, it resulted in widespread stereotyping of Muslims. 9/11 compares to The Crucible because in the play innocent people would get accused of witchcraft. After 9/11 Muslims would get accused of being terrorists.
